Ms. Stein has served on many boards of directors. She spent six years as an Appointed Evaluator to the State Bar of Michigan Standing Committee on Character and Fitness.
She is also a Past President of the Women Lawyers Association of MIchigan and was elected to the State Board of Directors for eleven consecutive years.
During law school, Ms. Stein was a Judicial Intern for the United States District Court in Chicago, Illinois. Initially, this was a three-month position. Ms. Stein held the position for nineteen months and has unprecedented authority to use judicial opinions as personal writing samples.
After law school, Ms. Stein was a law clerk for the State of Michigan Court of Appeals. In that role, 100% of her draft judicial opinions were published without modification.
